HURRICANE RIDGE
Here's a series from a climb we did in Olympic National Park in late summer, 2002. It's a 9' DBH, 232' Doug fir with a busted top. On rope in the white hat is Lenny Anderson, with Tom Otto wearing a red hat on deck.
Ryan is already up in the tree. He bearclimbed the cedar to the left of us, then tossed a throwline over into the Fir, allowing us to set a line in the big tree. Meanwhile, the throwball got snagged, which we were able to help him retrieve later.
